Permission to use the site
You may use these tools free of charge, for personal, educational and commercial purposes, subject to the restrictions below. No account is required.
Authorised use only
Several tools make requests to systems you specify. You may only direct them at systems you own or have explicit permission to assess. Using this site to probe, scan or gather information about infrastructure you are not authorised to test is prohibited, and may be a criminal offence where you live. You are solely responsible for confirming that you have authorisation before you run a check.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site to break any law; to attempt to disrupt, overload or circumvent the rate limits of this service; to automate access at a volume that degrades the service for others; to resell access to the tools as though they were your own; or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure.
No warranty
The tools and the explanations around them are provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that results will be accurate, complete or current, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error free. Security tooling can produce false positives and false negatives; results are an input to your judgement, not a substitute for it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BITCOPS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use this site, or from decisions you make based on its output.
Intellectual property
The BITCOPS name, the site design, and the written explanations and articles on this site are our property and are protected by copyright. You may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link. You may not republish substantial portions without written permission. Output generated from your own input belongs to you.
Advertising
This site displays third-party advertising. Advertisements are not endorsements, and we do not control the content of ads served by third-party networks. Any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and them.
Changes and availability
We may add, change, suspend or remove tools and articles at any time, and may revise these terms. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
